QUALIFICATION CRITERIA for Assistant Professor Jobs in Delhi:
1. Assistant Professor (Cardiology):
A medical qualification included in Schedule I & II or part II of the third Schedule of the Indian Medical Council Act of 1956 (candidates possessing the qualifications included in Part-II of the third Scheduled should also fulfill the conditions specified in Section 13(3) of the Act. D.M. in Cardiology (2 years or 3 years or 5 years or 6 years recognized course after MBBS) or recognized qualification equivalent thereto.
2. Assistant Professor (Dermatology & Venereology):
Same as for Assistant Professor of Cardiology (CTC)above M.D. in Dermatology & Venereology or a recognized qualification equivalent thereto.
3. Assistant Professor (Gastroenterology):
Same as for Assistant Professor of Cardiology(CTC) above
D.M. in Gastroenterology (2 years or 3 years or 5 years or 6 years recognized course after MBBS) or recognized qualification equivalent thereto.
EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
1. Assistant Professor (Cardiology):
One year teaching and/or research experience in a recognized Institution in the subject of specialty after obtaining the Degree of D.M. in Cardiology (2 years or years recognized course after MBBS) or a qualification recognized equivalent thereto. However, no experience is necessary for the candidates possessing three years or six years recognized Degree of D.M. in Cardiology.
2. Assistant Professor (Dermatology & Venereology):
Three years teaching and/or research experience in a recognized Institution after obtaining the qualifying degree of MD in Dermatology & Venereology or a qualification recognized equivalent thereto.
3. Assistant Professor (Gastroenterology):
One year teaching and/or research experience in a recognized Institution in the subject of specialty after obtaining the Degree of D.M. in Gastroenterology (2 years or 5 years recognized course after MBBS) or a qualification recognized equivalent thereto. However, no experience is necessary for the candidates possessing three years or six years recognized Degree of D.M. in Gastroenterology.
SELECTION PROCEDURE:
Selection will be based on Written Exam / Interview.
AGE LIMIT:
The maximum age limit is 50 years.
GENERAL INSTRUCTIONS:
1. The date of Walk-in-interview i.e.12.05.2021 will be the cut off date for considering upper age limit, essential qualification & experience as per Recruitment Rules for the respective post.
2. The application form along-with prescribed qualification/experience & terms and conditions are available on the Institute’s website www.aiims.edu under the head “Notices” & “Recruitment” respectively.
3. Interested candidates, fulfilling all the eligibility criteria may report for walk-in-interview along-with the application in prescribed Performa with self attested copies of certificates / testimonials with legals to qualifications & experience and also bring original certificates/testimonials etc. by 11.00 AM on 12.05.2021 in the (Committee Room adjacent to the office of the Director, AllMS, New Delhi) for verification. The candidates reporting after 1.30 AM, will not be allowed to appear in the Interview.
TERMS & CONDITIONS- Assistant Professor Jobs in Delhi:
1. The appointment to the said post will be subject to medical fitness from the competent medical board for which he/she will be sent to the designated Medical Authority.
2. The appointment is purely on CONTRACT BASIS for a period of one year or till such time the incumbent joins back whichever is earlier, with effect from the date of joining. However, the contractual appointment shall not be extended beyond the period of two years. If the contract is not extended further, the same will lapse automatically.
3. The appointment can also be terminated at any time, on either side, by giving one month’s notice or by paying one month’s salary, without assigning any reason. Appointment can also be terminated within 3 months of initial appointment in case performance of the incumbent is found to be unsatisfactory.
4. The consolidated remuneration for the post of Assistant Professor will be Rs. 1,42,506/- per month (consolidated).
5. The appointee shall be on the whole time appointment of the AllMS and shall not accept any other assignment, paid or otherwise and shall not engage himself/herself in a private practice of any kind during the period of contract.
6. Other conditions of service will be governed by relevant rules and orders issued from time to time.
7. The appointee shall not be entitled to any benefit like Provident Fund, Pension, (Gratuity Medical Attendance Treatment, Seniority, Promotion etc. or any other benefits available to the Government Servants, appointed on regular basis.
8. The appointee shall not be entitled to avail any allowances/facilities being extended to the regular/permanent faculty members of the AllMS.
9. The appointee is not entitled to any T.A for attending the interview and joining the appointment.
